Right, so, Zombiecide..... I haven't tried it myself. Basically from what I understand you play people who run around and kill zombies. A lot. Lots of zombies. More zombie slaughter. So C'mon (who's acronym always sounds like they're challenging me to a fight, or auditioning for the latest Vauxhall Corsa advert) have decided to run another Zombiecide kickstarter. They really don't need the money. At this point they're just cynically gouging kickstarter backers for dosh. As I mentioned I don't have any experience with Zombiecide and don't know if it's the kind of game that I'd enjoy playing. I've been meaning to ask Ben & Rhys about it as they played the stuffing out of the first version when they got it. So what sets this fourth version apart from any of the others, you might ask? Actually you probably didn't but I'm going to tell you anyway. It's supposedly a medieval version. Given how much magic and stuff they've got in it I'd call it a fantasy version myself. Of course they've gone for the usual gammut of homage characters (Sean Connery from the Name of the Rose, David Bowie as the goblin king from Labyrinth, two versions of Bruce Campbell from all the Evil Dead movies and so on). I might enjoy some senseless fantasy zombie carnage running around the table as a favourite character from some film or other. They've even managed to get a new Thrud sculpt on board! Lots of licensed homage miniatures. Zoimbiecide 4: Black Plague
Please feel free to comment, discuss, and let me know if you think it's my cup of tea or not.
