Saw this. George will love it. He'll be 4 by the time they've done it. That's fine isn't it? He loves cars...
Seriously I think hell like the roads even if he won't be suitable for a decade!

Once upon a time there was a trilogy of films called Mad Max.
Around the same time Games Workshop put out a game called Dark Future in which gangs with cars and motorbikes rode along roads fighting with each other. It was very good.
Then they had a really good game called Confrontation which they scrapped and rewrote as Necromunda which suddenly used the 40k rules instead of the tri stat system that Confrontation had used. At this point they started dumbing down. All games used the same rules. Mordheim sprang into being and then some god awful abomination called Gorkamorka which was basically Dark Future for orcs without the rules (just 40k rules and nothing like the original Dark Future rules for driving, taking sharp truns and stuff like that).
While I can't afford it at the moment I wouldn't mind giving it a go if someone else backed it. It could be quite fun. From what I understand this game is really quite close to the way Dark Future used to play.

I bought the starter boxed set as I quite liked the idea of gluing things on matchbox cars... Actually thought it looked a lot like dark future too and that was just disappearing as I was getting into the hobby.
But I do have lots of 20mm ww2... And I did think, what would have happened if mad max had happened in 1945...
