Hi all With my soon to be new found freedom from Tesco's this is the first of a few shows I'm intending on attending in 2014. As it is a 'piggy fest' I was thinking that maybe the club game can be a quick participation game of Hammering Iron. Simple scenario based on these events link

Hi Chaz
Have you booked your place at Fisticuffs yet as they need all details before the end of march?
Cheers Matt

Phil
Be good to see you again, any chance of you coming on a Monday to demo this - and you never know I might try to read the rules first.

Phew - we're back but don't mention the road between Bere Regis and Poole...what a stupid day to pick for resurfacing work, those minutes in the car felt like hours.
We went, we played Hammering Iron, 7 games or so, chatted to new people and some old faces as well. If there was a prize for quickest set up and pack up - we would have won that hands down. I guess the 28mm Napoleonic game is still packing up as I type this 4 1/2 hours after leaving.
Some Wyverns did spend more than others but that is their problem not mine.
Lots of games not so many casual visitors - pity.
Gosh hasn't Bring and Buy got expensive in some cases it is cheaper to now buy new from the manufacturer - or so it seems. Real bargains a little thin on the ground.
The food there is good and filling so no need of a picnic hamper. Did not try the beer but why drink it out of a plastic beaker - everyone knows that it should come in a glass jug.
Having got home I realised that the best bit of the whole day is......
taking off those trainers -- the mice must have thought that all their Christmases come together and the order eater spray run off and hide in the cupboard under the stairs.
So thanks to Stewart and Martin for the day out even if you consistently keep misspelling the diminutive version of my name. masada --- it is spelt with a Z

Great day spent far too much money as usual Good food was had overlooking the bay Lots of gaming and looking at stalls (see above!) Drive too fisticuffs was very dusty! Home trip was terrible It seemed the longest fifteen minutes ever to travel about 15 feet! Gggrrr hate road works especially ones with no turn offs for a while! Like Chaz boots off was very welcome at the end of the day But road trip or not was still a great day looking forward to next year should be on the 23rd May
