I have the new rulebook and the book of battles. Also the Arthur book of armies. I am trying it out with Magus in May. Could be a revival. Let me know if interested in getting involved. I can field romans, Huns or goths. Also Crusades.

Just built and primed ready for the final paint job. Eighteen mounted Crusaders. Twelve are hospitalers. I want to try at a letter date the deus vault rules with my 200 plus figures.

Also dug out a unit of turkopoles. They are quite nasty, they can alter the sequence by shooting then moving.

While I am away, work has started on a unit of hospitalers looking mean with clubs and axes.

Hospitalers now done, this army will be run by Matt on our saga night. I am just finishing off a Hun army. I am thinking of making the Warlord a drummer on a camel.

Just completed the Hun army. However needed a warlord. Just picked up the command set. Has flag bearer drummer mace and sword officer. Will make the drummer and flag bearer the warlord base. The mogul mounted on a camel is out of stock with the manufacturers. It is on order. I shall be playing Huns on the saga day. All cavalry, the pics are with Matt so will be on the blog shortly.

Putting together the command set has been a real pain the resin they use is terrible. The standard bearer is the worst. I have put together the other three models, but this one will not stick.

A question on the saga rules concerning orders and orders reaction. The orders phase is separate which gives your aponeant the chance to react. But is that only if he has dice left on the board or is he sacrificing dice on the next turn?

I believe it is an old rule, but I haven't a clue how it works.
