Just an idea. I am trying to get an idea of what painted figures we all have collectively. I want to start with saga because we could be sitting a major game here without any work involved. I will have a count up and let you know. Meanwhile please let me know what you have got.

I was thinking about Warhammer Ancients the rules lend themselves to large battles. I have a lot thirty five steppe tribe cavalry in 25mm twelve steppe tribe cavalry in 28mm, forty infantry. Another twelve cavalry including four crusades. And four cataract cavalry.

Also I could we use fantasy figures not kings of war in the system. I have around 100 skeleton and zombie figures together with wizards and a giant that have not had an outing. Plus forty archers also not seen the light of day. All are painted. Plus another 100 celts assembled but need finishing off.

Would be interest in Saga figures but not zombies, and haven't got skeletons now. Need to make a decision so got time to paint up.

Yep, good on yer. I think a massive build up of figures with the scenery we have is the way to go. Then show potential members the big games we are doing, also photograph more of the games for our website.

Even if I'm not coming to the club regularly for the mo, I'd be up for the odd group project if it helps. If you guys go nuts on the baddies, I can break out my Empire stuff and get painting to give them some opposition.

and the blog has been a little quite too. [3 posts in over 18 months] I will look to see whom has accounts to it (and as I've already done for RAWy send details to some of you so that posts can go there. Then I can 'retire' parts of the website that would be redundant as the information is either on the forum and past stuff / club night / battle reports on the blog. An example blogas you can see - not a lot needs to go up, just a little text and a couple of pictures, remember that this is available to the wide world so if there was a rota while each week a different member need the update you would only have to do it once every 6 or so weeks.
