Ok guys, so I have the rules for chain of command and dearly wish to have a go at it, so I thought I'd see if there is any interest from anyone else.
As it's from Too Fat Lardies the game is about playing the period, not the points devoted tournament gaming of other rules sets out there.
In regards to figures I already own 28mm but I'd be happy to look at getting in to 20mm if others also have an interest. The game relies on individual figures being removed so individual basing of figures is required.
So, anyone up for giving it a go?

Up for giving it a good read through as we discussed last Monday. I'm intrigued by the actual game, if not the period. If it's as good as I've heard, it may actually get me into WWII gaming, albeit in a small way!"

I thought I'd see who else may be up for it too :-)
If we get enough there's a great expansion book for playing campaigns :-D

Fancy some WW2 with a potential campaign to try our hands at strategically stopping your opponent long enough to win by default. That's not a comment on the rules at all, more on the outcome of war... default?

Does it got bogged down by the ever expanding deck of cards, as some of there (2FL) other games seem to?

Having had a cursory glance in to the whole "scale" thing, I'd be tempted to say we could play it at 20mm/1:72 scale, mainly because the PSC infantry sets contain the core force requirements for the main forces at £11. Not a bad buy in if you ask me.

20mm? *sucks gums* Why not 15mm with double the soldiers? Or even 6mm with a bucketload of soldiers. Or a very small table....

The ground scale for it works "best with 15mm" but aesthetically better with 20mm. In regards to, why not 15mm?, I don't want to individually base 15mm men and paint any more than I already have

I have been mulling, dear comrades, that I may be biting off more than I can chew with this one, as I've recently gone spastic on Epic & Battletech.
I'll look forward to peering ominously over your shoulders at progress, and may be able to dip in if/when you need a spare body, but don't want to mess you guys around so I'm gonna say now that I'll prob not have time to give this the attention it deserves.
Once I've got my mountain of unpainted models under control, I'll give you a holla

Not to worry at all Stu, totally understand the situation.
Thank you for the heads up, and I'm sure there will always be a need for an NPC controller to upset Jerry's plans.
