Just in case you think I won that £61 million on the lotto and done a runner, sadly no on both counts. The campaign is awaiting for my urgent, must do, for work projects and dead-lines to pass (which is August spoken for -- and I've had to cancel 2 weeks summer hols because of [%*!¬@#^ work] Played a very enjoyable full game of HI a couple of weeks ago with tango and unfortunately the dice choose to let him win. I really enjoyed using assets but that has arose a couple of questions to ask Martin - namely are some of the assets use once a game or do they keep coming back each turn, unless the detailed text says otherwise? This got me thinking that instead of spending campaign points for this or that or another thing why not simplify it by just buying dice (for the defender) to gamble on assets for that game. Ports can have 'golden asset' so that they get 'x' dice to spend on mines, torpedo boats and submarines in addition to the normal gamble. Dice can be assigned to a campaign box - so some river sections may have nothing or just a couple of dice to gamble for a shore battery and so on............ comstar and tango - what do you think?

So now we are in possession of another play mat, what has this opened up in bend in the river campaign and are we going to use it next time?
