The idea of a Club Project is for members to choose a wargaming goal and then work together to achieve it. This will usually be a specific set of rules or a period in time, but will be up to the club members to decide. Examples include... Tank Wreck rules, 15mm English Civil War and 6mm Rorke's Drift. The Club Project can then be used as the basis for a campaign, an all day event or whatever the club members decide. Hopefully there will be at least one Club Projects per year and participation will be voluntary. The whole point is for everyone to share the workload, so that at the end of an agreed period (typically 4-6 months), all the vehicles, figures and scenery needed for the Club Project are built and painted. N.B. By painted, we mean at least 1 colour and if 15mm or larger at least 2 colours OR 1 colour and an ink wash.

Normally we would have a poll... but after a fair amount of discussion on the forum, Dave Wetton has kindly volunteered to get the ball rolling by running a Cold War, 6mm Tankwreck campaign .

Normally we would have a poll... but after a fair amount of discussion on the forum, Dave Wetton has kindly volunteered to get the ball rolling by running a Cold War, 6mm Tankwreck campaign . Only 'cos there seemed to be so much interest in it on the forum! I've started looking at sensible scenarios that get everyone in the fight. Cold War gone hot/WWIII scenarios abound, but some madman is bringing the Swedes to the ball, so, after a lot of thought, I've settled on the Great Ikea Meatball War of 1987... Hopefully I can get something outlined and some rough/draft campaign rules up for discussion by the next club meet. DW
