on that note - looking for my first league game on 06/09/15 Holla back, players I'll give you a game on the 07.09.2015 Under threat of divorce I can only really do one game a week so wouldn't be able to do the 6th if I do the 7th. Not a deal breaker, but can you manage a monday insead?

As per Phil's suggestion, the winner will also be the proud owner of the famous Tugerl Swan Cup (10 points if you get the joke- I didn't!) Oh that is bad. I still don't know precisely what it is (having never exposed myself to that particular phenomena) but I gather it's a video on the internet somewhere.

Move the S from the front of the second word to the back end of the first one. Apparently there's a cup involved. And Two Girls. They do something with the cup. I think someone described it to me once. I don't remember the details but I recall it being pretty revolting.

Our numbers have grown! With the addition of Chris, we have 5 definites, and a Raphy Balgin some of the time to make 6. The suggestion for the Tugerl Swan Cup (you sick bastards) to run for about 2 1/2 months is to allow for hopefully at least 4-6 games per team before the semi's. This also allows time for people to use their precious Mondays for other things in between so you're not Blood Bowled out. Of course, if you want to pack in 10 games back to back, the more power to you.
From experience, 4 games is really the minimum you need in order to start to see a team grow and develop. Keep in mind that this is a 'starter' cup, with the intention of taking the teams to new tournaments and championships as time goes by, with longer periods and bigger prizes (and more twisted trophies!).
I've got my first league game booked with Comstar in September. Can you guys let me know when you book a game, and who you'll be playing with?

Thinking of getting a team, dont know if i can commit to a campaign though. Are the rules all the same through to the latest edition? so it doesnt matter which rule book i get? Used to play it back in the day, but not played for Yeeeears!

Used to play it back in the day, but not played for Yeeeears! Awesomeness in a bag. Re: campaign - fear not. There isn't really a campaign. It's as many people who want, playing as many games as they want, over a 10 week period (Sept to mid Nov) The most successful of the bunch will bave the opportunity to play another game in the semi's, and one more in the Final. up till that point, play 1 game or 20. Record your team and have a chance at the semi's and finals by recording money, deaths, skills, plus win/loss record, or just play a bunch of 'one offs agaist those that are recording it (though of course you'll never hold the trophy have a look at the link at the top of the thread for the lving rulebook 6. The rules are mostly the same, just have been tweeked to work better/be clearer/fairer. If you want to use/try a team first, gimmi a shout. Between the guys here I think we've got most of 'em.

The core rules (moving, passing the ball, picking up the ball, beating each others heads in etc) have not changed in a very long time. The skills and abilities the players get on their profiles have been tweaked for balance a lot but they basically do the same thing that they used to.
