Got
Read
Looking good and very playable (core rules only 20 A5 pages with pictures, box outs and examples).
Designed for team games, no bookkeeping apart from placing, pick up tokens and cross off on the fleet morale countdown.
No more hogging the wind gage Rory -- come out and fight.
Me have to get some one to collect for me some Langtons at Bovvy --- I'm going to start small [3 or 4 ships a side] but get me two forces together

Well Chaz has all of my old card pirate and spanish ships and we were going to try it out using them. Once we got our head right then give them a bash I also have some larger scale Armada era ships Spanish and British which may work as well

Ok so 2 of the 8 ships painted... Pictures to follow..... the rigging is getting a bit scary! Does anyone know much about this? I have been stretching the cotton...(I'm sure there is a euphemism in there somewhere) but should i soak it in some sort of wood glue mix?

also does anyone know about a more complex set of rules? fighting sale is great for doing fleet actions but doing one v one frigate fights for the war of 1812 or barbary pirates I was thinking something more detailed. i remember getting something from keep wargaming back about 10 years ago that needed a maths degree to use... not adverse to the idea
