Here guys Whilst playing against Ben and Reese last night Ben mentioned it could be a worth while idea making up a beginners FAQ for a lot of the regular questions that keep coming up to save you guys time when playing each other rather than constantly stopping and starting to ask myself or consult the rules etc so with that in mind please feel free to post here any questions or cheat sheet style info you think would be relevant and I can add it to our FAQ. I've got a quick draft which I knocked out on MS Word which is saved in my Dropbox. Feel free to download it from the link below and take a look. If anything is missing or you'd like something added please let me know. Ben also mentioned he might be able to get it printed onto a plastic coated paper so we can have hard copies for the League. www.dropbox.com/s/jgf04tn9fopofw8/Beginner%27s%20FAQ.docx?dl=0

I won the duel by x I have + or -- that is the star table you want on a crib sheet...
When we do our weekend army lists we make an a4 double sided laminated sheet. My mates always forget speshul rewls so we do a separate army sheet of that.
Last time we made HUGE dog tags for a marine players doctrine things so he got to wear them. They got in the way but he remembered to use them. Some of the special rules will be like that (hard to wound, black blood, etc etc)

Good idea, that was one of the main points I meant to put into the FAQ but after I started I kept coming up with new things to add and I totally forgot to add a table with Damage Flip modifiers and how many cards etc. It's in there now though.
As for Abilities such as Hard to Wound or Black Blood they are on the models stat cards and so shouldn't be difficult to remember as a lot of the time you are learning the game you are looking at the cards to figure out what to do next. I don't think they need to make it into an FAQ.

I agree that abilities don't need to be on there, but I kind of meant it's easier for eac person to have their own list...

I do a similar thing when I play Hell Dorado because I'm fairly new to that game so a little cheat sheet to remind me when my abilities apply is always useful. Same could be true for Malifaux beginners. A sheet that says "Remember : After Damage apply Black Blood" etc. Still... back on track. Anything else you think that needs to be added to my disaster of an FAQ?

No I think it's good. I did wonder if it wanted a the turn order is this (particularly shuffle discard draw hand) ? When conditions end;? (Which ones stack?) Oh and the other thing I thought was (and I might be wrong) loser cheats first; Engagement (what you can do when engaged? I'm just trying to think of things I forget!
I thought it was good

Most of those things are in the rulebook within the first 30-40 pages or so however if these questions keep cropping up I'll add them in.
