Have you a plan for snow? Bicarbonate is a very good cheap snow material and using a hair drier on cool will help it to "drift"

That was a forgeworld tip. One of my friends online in our old counter strike clan used to go to a club with one of the forgeworld guys who used to regularly win euro militaire so we learned the principles of lots of really cool techniques. (Putting them into practice is another matter though!)

Given all the hotel floor a good dose of paint now. Looks ok, but will be better with carpet...

Spray painted my decking and some ral Partha crates and barrels for the docks. Tried to use a cannof liquitex black I had but it trickled and spat. In spite of feeling full of paint it seems devoid of propellant. Part of me wants to heat it. The sensible part of me put it in the bin...

It's amazing what drybrush ing the sewer and getting brown on the gantry has done. Might paint poo in the sewer today too [edit: not done well showing any of that with the light]

That is a pile of amazingness. Creeping algae up the walls is a VERY nice touch. I put the first claim in for this in the unlikely event that you die. Say, around the 14th of March. Which is when I'll be around your house, with the boot of my car open.
I think someone said you're a lawyer, so.....like, that's legal, right. First dibs, yeah?

Dibs is legal.
However you will have to fight my son for it.
And he has quicker access to tools. And you've not seen him practice with his lightsaber... (Proper daddy lessons for a 3 year old)

Yay. My table can progress. My order of 15th jam arrived from fenris games. It's full of awesome wonder. But most importantly it's got my portcullis, my building cornices and my fountain.
My aim today. Cut down 4 boards to 9x9....

That's crazy talk. He didn't order 15 jams, he clearly dismissed the first 14 and waited for that special one.
It's blueberry, am I right?
Do you smear yourself in jam whilst you model in the garage?
Is this something you creative types just do?

Portcullis installed . Now wait for glue to dry, then I'll fill and texture it. I got the catacombs ready too. I now have to fit a door. I wanted to black out the sewer ceilings but waiting for glue to dry...

The little chapel on the hill. Sculpting went wrong so I've under up with a little grotto under it too. I'm picturing candles, tree roots some kind of shrine. And in the context of the board...

It's an excellent game, but doesn't interest me 'fluff-wise'. I'll still dip in, on occasion. I'm sure that scenery could be used for any number of other games, besides

The book they bought out in the summer added crew development but I didn't get that book yet. Can also use my board for Batman Mordheim Necromunda Bushido Carnivale And as its is 3x3 it might be perfect for a certain hell based game. I've got my eye on Greebo miniatures turtles too and I can see them fighting shredder on there too.
Honestly it is an exercise in modelling to me...
