Anyone fancy having a go at Martian Empires? I bought the rules a few months ago and thought I'd ask around before stumping up a load of pennies on a game no-ones interested in... It plays like Warmaster with the command & control, and has a flavour more akin to Space 1889's " A Soldier's Companion" rather than IHMN. Definitely VSF rather than Steampunk. I've bought a few Redcoats from Highlander Studios, along with some A**Holes of the Galaxy (not for this - just 'cos they're kewl), but haven't yet got any of the BH ones. I figure I'll probably shell out for a starter army after the commercial orgy of overindulgence loosely based on some pagan-judeo-christian cult that is Christmas is over... Any takers? DW

It's definitely not a skirmish game. Basing is 3-4 figures to a base, or 1 vehicle.
Paint is optional!!!
