I couldn't wait any longer I bought a box of married and unmarried zulus. Just putting them together now. Any of our club regulars done this in 28mm. Yet another project started. Have got twenty colonial plus one cannon no one Gatling.
something I've always wanted to play -- well since those movies anyway.
I just would have gone in at 10 or 15mm instead.
knowing you, you got those boxes cheap
Lots to do putting together the unmarried all done now I am priming with army painter leather brown and going to
darken with a thin wash of rhinos hide. The feathers and cow tails with screaming skull. The shields will be black and white. Finishing with a wash of strong tone. Seven stands of forty ml with four to a base. Four stands of twenty ml with single figures to show casualties
Had a thought, they supply in the box set eight shields also eight shields In The other box, these cannot be used on the zulus as the arms are attached to the shields. So I thought I would base a painted shield on a forty by forty and use it as an impi replacing the zulus when they surcom to the British martinis. Therefore bog off. Buy one get one free.
