Howdy crackers
Was thinking that it might be fun in the New Year to launch with a new project/campaign/tournament. Any thoughts as to what's flicking people's nipples at the moment? Not sure I can get enough of you into Battletech or Warzone to make a big club effort worth while, but what about new Blood Bowl, Deadzone, Kings of War, Necromunda, Saga, Malifaux, Horizon Wars, Epic Armageddon or perhaps a whole new one that's been rumbling in the back ground?
not only are they great fun, they help focus people when their peers are involved.
On a PR note, might be good to compete with Entoyment and other venues by hosting your own Kings of War (or whatever) campaign. Bring a few of the periphery members back (if they want to, of course). Or offer something that they don't do, but is new and interesting like the new version of a Blood Bowl or Horizon Wars
Anyway, that's the idea. If enough people are enthusiastic about one game system, I'd happily organise or defer to the expert as required.
if no one' fussed, or too many people want different things and so we don't have enough on one, then I'll be doing what I usually do and keep my own personal campaigns running anyway

well that's a pretty broad canvas to wave a paint brush at.
Apart from SAGA you have listed nothing that I have nor rushing out tobuy.
But as at least 4 of us have paper armies in construction for War of the Roses we could do that with Kings of War - hysterical version. Not just Bosworth
but all these as well and in order
The First Battle of St Albans 22 May, 1455 Battle of Blore Heath 23 September, 1459 Battle of Northampton (1460) 10 July, 1460 The Second Battle of St Albans 17 February, 1461 Battle of Towton 29 March, 1461 Battle of Barnet 14 April, 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury 4 May, 1471 Battle of Bosworth Field 22 August, 1485 Battle of Stoke Field 16 June, 1487
multi player games can be fun

I know a lot of the guys prefer to stick to historical which is fine - it wouldn't overlap necessarily with the sci-fi/fantasy punters anyway. (P.s. I've just got my copy of War of the Roses, so count me in on that)
I recall the interest we had with the Blood Bowl Tugerl Cup, and the Malifaux League before that (for example), and wanted to see if there were any takers in something similar. If there's not enough for a formal thing as people are already committed with their own interests, then I'll continue in mine - no problems.

Perhaps Bloodbowl using the new rules/minis? I see a fair few of you are already jumping up and down with excitement about that!

My vote would be Blood Bowl, Horizon Wars or KoW. I would be happy to set up a league website like I did for the Tugerl Cup (are the trophy's still about?).

A site would be great - or even referring to the old site with new bits so we can refer back to past glories! I've got the trophies still. It took a while to get them sorted so people went on to other things. I was planning to dish them out at the start of the next Cup - kind of a good way to launch a new tournament
