Just bought the rule book pike and shotte in anticipation of the Ecw army. Covers a massive period Tudor wars, Italian wars, thirty years war. Built for 28mm but changing inches for centimetres works for 15mm. Anybody tried these rules?

Yes. I have ecw in 28mm they are a middle ground between hail casa and black powder. Unit v unit rather than models. I liked it but didn't get many games. Usual story.
It seemed to favour 16-20 figure units whereas I'd played GW historical ecw before which was more in favour of huge

Thanks, it doesn't look too daunting I am hoping to play this quite a bit as I bought it as a club project. Tom is putting it together. We have about 600 pieces in 15mm I know Matt has some period army as well. Watch this space.

Do have a variety of armies which cover this period and a good variety of rules.
Not tried the new piggy ECW rules but once club army is based up (hopefully) following some common format we can get to have a go
