Just thinking of my next project, just finished the Hussars. So thinking about Lancers or should I crack on with the Natal.

Lancers can be fun. the question would be whose. The Perry and Victorix models have more life, (means more bits to stick together) than the Warlord. PS I'm told to ignore warlord resin

Zulu wars bases been ordered from Warbases - think War of the Ring bases, that should give you a good idea of what I ordered for the Infantry.
Horse / Guns can wait until I have made some inroads into plastic mountain

I did go for the Warlord. They look a breeze to put together. Will be a welcome change after the Hussars. However they will take second fiddle to the vitrix artillery three of just got the oval bases will have one guard and two foot artillery.

How much artillery does a megalomaniac require?

Got to keep busy or I will go round the bend. Have had a look at Barons War. Interesting thirteenth century skirmish?

More research materials, and liking the idea that the same models and scenarios gives 2 games. Have to read the rules before I can comment Attachments:

Are the buildings easy to build. Saw a colonial house at Entoyment. So far i say yes but I'm base coating before assemble It's a rush if you must thing i take my time then i don't have to make running repairs. There's lot of sub assemblies if your patient and do dry runs it all fits together

I asked a fair few people, got lots of advice and still decided to go my own way
They may be right but not consistent. The most important bit of advice is don't rush, let glue and paint dry.
My buildings may end up looking like the 🎥 that's lots of white walls but a bit more research may say other wise.
Too late, my internal walls are now white

Maybe I best settle down and watch Shaka Zulu
It's a 10 part mini series that runs for 300 minutes, good job I brought a copy
But first, as I missed it, tonight, Michael Portillo empire episode about Africa, it's downloaded to the sky box
